Directions to the Capitol and Parking

The Colorado State Capitol is located at 200 E. Colfax between Colfax & 14th, and Sherman Street and Broadway.

Public pay lots are located within a 5‐minute walk to the Capitol. Nearby surface pay lots are located along Lincoln St. after Colfax or at 16th and Lincoln. Covered parking is located in the Denver Art Museum/Denver Public Library garage and is accessed from 12th Avenue just west of Broadway.

The Capitol is within short walking distance from the Civic Center RTD station.

To get to the capitol on foot from downtown, simply head to the 16th Street Mall and take the free mall ride south to the end of the line at Broadway. From here, the Capitol is only one block away. Simply head further south to Colfax, and turn left.
